Every plan includes everything. You pay for people barua knows something about, and an email address with no history is free, because barua can't help a stranger.
There are no feature gates here. A store with 2,000 people gets the same play engine, the same review queue, and the same outcome reporting as a brand with 75,000. The only thing that changes is how many people barua is working for.

Your sending tool charges for the list. Somebody still has to decide what to say, to whom, and when. That somebody is usually you, on a Tuesday night, or an agency on a retainer. barua is priced against that work, not against the sending.
Ten hours of writing, briefing and upkeep is a conservative estimate for a brand running a welcome, a couple of nudges, a win-back and its order emails by hand. Agencies quote €2,000 to €5,000 a month for that kind of work.
Someone with an email address and at least one real thing behind it: a signup, an order, an unfinished checkout, or a visit if the tag is on your site. An address with no history behind it doesn't count and doesn't cost anything, because there is nothing to go on. If somebody unsubscribes, your bill goes down.
Nothing breaks. You move up a plan after you have been over the line for two months in a row, so one good December doesn't change your bill.
The allowance scales with your plan and works out around one message per person per month. Based on how the pipeline gates sends, we expect a normal month to use a fraction of it, though we will have measured numbers rather than estimates once more brands are running. It is not a target to hit. Only how many people you have changes your plan, never how much barua sent, so going over the allowance starts a conversation with us instead of a bigger invoice. Someone in their first week hears from barua more often than someone who has been around a year, so if your base is mostly new, tell us and we will ramp it.
No. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee instead. If barua hasn't earned its place in a month, write to us and we refund it.
Yes, at ten months for twelve.
For lifecycle email, no: that is the part barua takes over. Receipts and order updates come from barua too, once your server sends the order events; until then, keep them where they are. Campaigns and newsletters are not something barua sends yet, so keep a tool for those.
Your events, and anything the optional tag captures, live in London, which the European Commission's adequacy decision covers, so it reaches London from the EEA without standard contractual clauses or a transfer assessment, like an EU destination. Typing is masked in the browser before it leaves the visitor's device; contact details a visitor submits and on-site search queries are the main exceptions. Session replays expire after 30 days, and profiles are built from your site alone. The full list of exceptions is on the privacy page.
Each play is approved against real renders before it runs, by you or by your agent, and reporting shows what each email drove. A real person answers the inbox. If that sounds like your kind of marketing, write us.
